Dr. Premanand graduated in medicine from Madurai Medical College,  M.S from  Madras Medical College followed by fellowship in Glaucoma at LV Prasad Eye Institute.  He has also completed FICO (Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology) in 2011 and FAICO (Fellow of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology) in Glaucoma in2013. His area of interest is glaucoma and cataract.  He has published many articles in National and International Journals. He also presented many papers and videos at State and National Conferences, and won ‘Best poster award’ at GSI in 2013.
