Guest Lecture

A guest lecture was organised for the women employees on the topic, “Importance of women safety and self-defense”. Ms.Sughasini IPS, Additional Superintendent of Police (ADSP), Coimbatore district was the Chief Guest who gave a rousing lecture about women empowerment, safety and self-defense. She emphasized digital crimes against women and how to stay protected. The entire session was thought provoking and turned out to be an eye opener for the audience. It helped them realise how cell phones could land us into a challenging situation.

Session on ‘Cybercrimes against women” by Ms.Jagadevi, (Sub Inspector of Police, Cybercrimes, Coimbatore) was very interesting and lively.Citing real life examples of adverse happenings, she tried to convey the disadvantages of unnecessary and uncontrolled use of digital media. Her jovial session made the staff listen to it with full attention, realise the importance of following safety measures and be cautious in their day to day activities.
