Christmas Celebration

As part of the HR activity, Aravind-Pondicherry organised Christmas celebration on 25th December 2021. Staff divided into five teams presented their talents through dance and songs. Our MLOP Medical Officer Dr. K. Veena, MLOP In-charge wished everyone on this special occasion. Cakaes were distributed.

Christmas was celebrated at Aravind -Tirunelveli with great joy and enthusiasm on 22nd December 2021. The evening was marked with glittering lights, stars, sweets and cultural programmes like dance and skit. Mr. P. Hariesh Kumar, Manager – Camp and Projects, shared a special message on the occasion. Santa’s dance made the programme colourful. S.r Jenslin, Out-Patient department was the master of the ceremony. Dr. R. Ramakrishnan and Dr. Meenakshi congratulated the coordinators of the programme for the wonderful arrangements made and also wished all Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.  It was a perfect evening of  joy, sharing and happiness. The special chill evening was a brilliant display of lights, joy and bright glowing stars.

Christmas programme at Aravind Eye Hospital Coimbatore was held on 22nd December on the theme “VELITCHAM” in the presence of Dr. Saravanan, Medical Consultant, Retina. The programme started with a prayer song, Bible reading and a special prayer. The programme consisted of events such as medley of Christmas songs medical consultants Dr. Saravanan, Dr.Palmeera D’Souza, Dr. Ramya, Dr. Prabhu Nissi and Dr. Jebinth Brayan. Group dance, skit and medley Christmas songs were performed by the crèche children and MLOP sisters. Fun games were conducted by Mr. Sam Asir. MLOP sisters enthusiastically participated in the event and enjoyed the games.

Christmas message was shared on the theme VELLITCHAM  – “To throw away the misconceptions and bitterness and be the light and lighten others life” by Mrs. Gladys, Counsellor, Retina. Finally the arrival of Santa Claus added more fun to the event and made the day memorable. Vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Uma Priya, Manager HR.

Aravind-Theni celebrated the joy of the season with special decorations.
