RD Sriram is instrumental in forming and growing Aurolab, ophthalmic Aravind’s manufacturing unit into a strong self- sustaining not-for-profit social enterprise. He is a mechanical engineer by qualification. Before joining Aurolab, he has been handling projects related to installation and maintenance of wind mills and thermal power plants. He is responsible for developing Aurolab’s Intraocular Lens Division to what it is today.
