UP/Gujarat, 24^th October to 3^rd November

As part of the LEAP series aimed at enhancing cataract surgery outcomes, a team from Aravind, including Sashi Priya, Consultants, Dr. Aditi Ghosh, Medical Consultant, Intraocular Lens & Cataract Services, Aravind-Tirunelveli, and Dr. Aruna Pai, Medical Consultant, Intraocular Lens & Cataract Services, Aravind-Madurai, conducted needs assessment visits to Sitapur Eye Hospital, Sitapur, UP, from 24th to 28th October, and Teja Eye Hospital, Mandvi, Gujarat, from 31st October to 3rd November. The objective of the visit was to evaluate the current performance and quality of the hospitals, identify areas for improvement, propose remedial measures, and provide guidance for the hospitals to evolve into centres of excellence.
