LAICO organised a weeklong competition from March 1 to 7 to commemorate International Women’s Day. Lady staff members were divided into four groups named after the rivers of Tamil Nadu. Poetry writing, rangoli, debate, hairstyling, cooking without fire, and mehendi were the various competitions. On the final day, there was a special talk delivered by the chief guest, Dr. Rani Chakravarthy, Psychologist, Rakshna Child Care Centre, Madurai. Winners of the various competitions were also awarded during the celebration.

Anaikatti, March 9-12

LAICO in collaboration with Tata Advanced Systems Ltd organised the third and final session of the Kaushalam leadership development programme at My Village resort in Anaikatti, Coimbatore. Senior staff from Aravind and Aurolab, and Masood Hussainy, Head, Aerostructures and Aeroengines, Tata Advanced Systems took part.
