Dr. Manju R. Pillai, Medical Consultant, Glaucoma Services, Aravind-Madurai attended the meeting and gave a presentation on the results of the project titled Improving Adherence to follow up in Childhood Glaucoma. She also presented a video documenting one of the beneficiaries of the project. The project was carried out under the USAID Child Blindness Programme and was well appreciated by all the consultants involved in treating childhood glaucoma around the world.

Dr. Manju also took time to visit paediatric glaucoma facilities at the Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. She also visited the genetic lab associated with it to learn more about genetic studies in childhood glaucoma. Besides, she took time to meet Dr. Maria Papadopoulos, a paediatric glaucoma consultant as well as a well-wisher of Aravind.
