Inauguration of Manalurpet Vision Centre

Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry opened a new vision centre at Manalurpet, Kallakuruchi district. The centre  is sponsored by SEVA-SCB (Standard Chartered Bank under (SiB) Seeing is Believing. Dr. Aravindakumar, Ex-Governor, Lions Club District 324-H  inaugurated the centre, and the tele-ophthalmology unit was inaugurated by Mrs. Revathy Jaiganesh, President, Manalurpet town Panchayat.  The centre  examined  76 patients on the inaugural day, of which 23 were advised for cataract surgery. 9patients were advised to wear eyeglasses.
