Dr.P. Sundaresan, Senior Scientist, Aravind Medical Research Foundation delivered the Silver Jubilee Endowment Lecture of the Department of Genetics, University of Madras Genetics. Dr. Sundaresan titled his talk, Discovery of genes causing blindness and gene therapy.

Optometry Fellows of Aravind-Chennai – Abisha.S; Anusiya.D; Sruthi. G and Dillibai. J won first, second, fourth and sixth prize respectively at the International Blog Competition conducted by Vision Science Academy, United Kingdom.
