Training for Staff of Vision Centres

The programme was arranged to train the staff of five vision centres (Sathankulam, Vilathikulam, Puliyangudi, Sivagiri and Pavoorchatram) on the use of a new fundus camera.

Lakshmi R, Manager, HR welcomed the gathering.  Dr R. Meenakshi, Chief Medical Officer set the context by explaining the need for the training programme. Dr. Akruti Gunderia, Retina Fellow explained in detail about the new fundus machine. Hands-on training was also arranged.

The programme came to an end with a vote of thanks by Mr Stephen, Vision centre coordinator.
