ASTRA, the annual training programme for the new joiners of Aurolab was held at LAICO. About 30 took part.
Exposure visit to Aurofarm
Around 50 farmers from Melur, a small town near Madurai visited Aurofarm to know about systematic organic farming. Farmers were taken on a tour of Aurofarm and the details of farming were explained. Dr.G.Natchiar gave a special address and interacted with the team.
Pongal Celebration

As always, Aurolab celebrated Pongal in traditionally and elegantly. Prof.Dr.Muthukkaruppan, Advisor – Research and Prof.Dr.K.Dharmalingam, Director – Research, Aravind Eye Care System were the chief guests. The celebration was marked by performances such as Karagattam, Oyilattam, kolattam, Parai, Uriyadi, and Mulaipari. Winners of the various competitions were given prizes. Pooja was performed and prasadam was distributed to all.
